First Winds of Autumn by Blackbird Designs

The First Winds of Autumn by Blackbird Designs is the 2nd offering in 2018 for the Ladies Prim Society. It is available only to members of the Club. It MAY be released to the general public but not for at least a year.

First Winds of Autumn Kit Contents.

The kit comes complete with everything needed to complete the project, chart, linen, floss, and Lady Dot velveteen. The linen included is 36ct Vintage Beeswax by R & R Reproductions. 36ct is much too small for me to stitch on even with a magnifier so I am using 16ct Wren by Picture This Plus. The project is shown finished as a strawberry (large) but mine will be even larger so I plan on finishing it as a drum or have it finished.

First Winds of Autumn – Body of the Drum.

Since I intend to finish this as a drum, I stitched some butterflies for the top.

I received this picture of the finished piece from Vonna Pfeiffer today, October 3rd. Cannot wait to see it in person.
