Gifts of the Season is one of the two new releases by Blackbird Designs. The booklet contains four projects inspired by an English Sampler. Two of the designs were 2023 retreat projects from Attic Needlework.
The sampler pictured on the front cover is Gifts of the Season and the one I chose to stitch first. The stitch count is 157w by 169h and the recommended fabric is 36ct Velum by Picture This Plus. I chose to use a piece of 16ct Moon Shadow by Seraphim Fabrics. I am also going to switch out the floss for Victorian Motto Sampler Shoppe floss.

I also decided to leave off the border around the sampler and possibly the personalization block at the bottom.
I had a simple brown frame (11″ x 11″) that I thought would work for this one. Now to hang it in the dining room with my other Blackbird Designs projects.
