Poppies & Polka Dots

December 31, 2013 By Patricia Geary

poppies-and-polkadots

Poppies & Polka Dots by Ursula Michael is one of the design booklets by Jeanette Crews Designs. The various charts feature realistic poppies in shades of red complemented by soft yellow polka-dots.  I am stitching the one that shows on the bottom left at the tip of the V but as a framed picture or pillow rather than the table runner that is shown. I am using 14ct antique white Aida.

Update: Finished on December 31, 2013!! Now to decide on how to finish it. Frame it as a picture or make a pillow out of it?

I love the clock piece! I love to cross stitch, but it has taken a backseat to my jewelry-making for the time being. I need to start stitching again.
